Vila Nova is a small family friendly complex just 15 min walk from the village and beach with all its lovely restaurants and shops. There's a communal adult pool, baby pool and childrens play area as well as a fabulous on site restaurant serving delicious lunches and dinners (and a cheeky afternoon cocktail or two 😍)
Our apartment (1F "Casa Helder") is on the first floor with distant sea views from both the main terrace and roof top, and we are just a few steps from the pool. We have A/C, Wi-fi, TV (with UK channels), washing machine, dish washer, coffee machine, hair dryers etc. so everything you need to have a perfect stay.
There is a twice weekly maid service to clean the apartment and to change towels and bed linen.

Fabulous Apartment
This is our 4th time staying at Vila Nova but the first time in this apartment. The way this apartment has been decorated is amazing. The attention to detail is evident everywhere. We are very much looking forward to our visit next year.

Fantastic find!
Thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely apartment. Fantastic size and well equipped apartment with access to lovely pool and bar area..and a bonus of being a short walk into Carvoeiro.

Second stay in this wonderful home from home
Hi Maria, Just a quick note to acknowledge how great our stay was in Casa Helder,it was our second time in 2 years to stay in your fab home from home.The location is perfect,the staff at Vila Nova are very friendly and helpful.We would also like to thank you for being so accommodating which made our stay hassle free with great communication.The rooftop area is great in the evening for relaxing,hopefully we will be back soon ,Emma & Liam and family

Another lovely holiday!
Our second lovely holiday at Casa Helder. Loved every minute and so did our little Granddaughter on her first trip abroad. Already booked for next year!

It has now become our Home from Home
Dear Maria and Steve, We have had a wonderful stay at Casa helder, this being our 2nd stay it has now become our home from home. One of the highlights for us adults was the boardwalk, with breathtaking views and caves to explore. The kids absolutely loved 'Slide and Splash' waterpark where I was only roped in to doing 3 slides this year. Thank you for the wonderful experience and look forward to visiting again next year.
We don't want to leave
This is our 2nd time to Carvoeiro and believe this town will be our go to place for many years to come. We found the Vila Nova complex peaceful and relaxing. the apartment is beautiful, airy, clean and stocked with everything we would need. We don't want to leave. We would definitely recommend Maria's place in Sesmarias if you like Italian, the food is superb. And Piano Garden in Ferragudo if you like Indian - best indian I have ever had. The staff even get up and dance with everyone to live music. If you venture out a bit further, the Cockerel in Albufiera serve the best fish and chips ever and the BBQ spare ribs were to die for. Oh and not forgetting the amazing restaurant here at Vila Nova - Amazeballs! Thank you for an incredible stay, we couldn't have wanted a better place to stay. 5 stars from us. Forgot to mention the sun terrace on the roof. Lovely breeze up there as well as sun and shade. We used it loads :-) Was perfect.
The nicest apartment we have stayed in
Dear Maria and Steve, This is not the first time we have stayed in Vila Nova, but I have to say that this has been the nicest apartment we have stayed in. Light and airy, very much a home from home. Especially enjoyed the top deck, such a lovely seating area. We haven'r really done vey much - mooched into town to a couple of our favorite restaurants - Gala (fabulous food) and bought some lovely pottery. We have popped along the coast to Caneiros to take in the lovely warm sandy beach. We have spent time around the pool and had a lovely meal at Vila Nova Restaurant and some pre-dinner drinks. Used the mini-mart for croisants at breakfast. All in all had a lovely relaxing rest in a beautiful apartment. Thank you so much. (ps. we will definitely be booking your apartment again :-)

Dear Maria x Steve, Can't express how much we enjoyed our stay at "Casa Helder". The apartment was perfect - airy, light and spotlessly clean. We had everything we could have wished for. Vila Nova is a lovely place with the pool and restaurant and we enjoyed lovely walks and the recommended boat trip. We will definitely be re-booking ..... possibly again for this year! We’ve had the most fabulous 4 night stay at the beautiful Casa Helder. Maria is the perfect host, the place is sooo big !!! Gorgeous pool, delightful roof terrace , I could go on and on. 5 stars , all around
